Persuasion from a text Code
There's monsters in the sea. They hardly speak
but every whisper is slightly less than a shreik.
The blue is just a hue from the sky and from the lights.
The noise is just their cries and the waves rolling high
onto the shore.
My feet are wet with drops and clarity; I heard the silent roar.
The monsters weren't so hideous just messenger birds in flight.
But their shadows were the result of sun light and a low tide.
As dawn rose I wrote a foot or two of prose across the sand
your name was drawn in the heart where I continue to stand.
